This covers structural integrity, electrical systems, propulsion system, fuel system, other machinery, navigational equipment, various shipboard systems, cosmetic appearance, electronics and general maintenance, as well as an out-of-water inspection and sea walk.
Appraisal - This is the type of inspection to gather sufficient information to justify or determine the fair market value of the ship for insurance purposes.
